Belial

$32.95

With only a few crude images that depict Belial provided by woodcarvings (circa 1400s), we decided to sculpt our own version of a young Belial. This impish representation is made of cast stone which we hand paint in an antiqued style. It measures approximately 6.25 inches tall by 2.375 inches across and 3 inches deep. This piece is brand new and made in the USA. Please note: since this item is hand-painted, it will vary slightly from the one featured in our photos here.

There is so much history concerning Belial. Usually appearing as two beautiful angels sitting in a chariot of fire or as small and thin being with platinum hair, he is one of the four crown princes of Hell (the others being Satan, Lucifer and Leviathan) as well as a demon in the Bible, Jewish apocrypha and Christian apocrypha. Some sources say that he was created immediately after Lucifer. To gain truthful answers, the magician or conjurer must offer a sacrifice. He is constrained by Divine venue to answer truthfully when given a sacrifice, otherwise he will lie. Belial is known to reconcile friends and enemies and provides familiars. He helps one get ahead on one's job and to gain a higher position. He brings favors from others, even one's enemies. It is also a term used to characterize or embody immense wickedness or iniquity.
